I’m a software developer that’s been in “the biz” for about 15+ years. I’ve done development with C++/MFC, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, HTML, VBScript, Javascript, and the list goes on. And currently am doing development of Rich Internet Applications using Adobe Flex and other such tools. I plan on using this site to share some ideas, books and sites others might find of use or interest and things of that sort. While there will be a major focus on Software and it’s Design and Development, you never know what you will find here, as with many blogs.

i saw your post on ActionScript.org (http://www.actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?t=121403) about HTTPService and XML.
I really need an example of an Flex Httpservice and how to save the response as XML and then parse through it. All the examples I could find just pass the root-element to a dataprovider. I need to extract only a few data from the XML I’m getting from the server. So, I want to save the response in a data structure (XML?,XMLList?,XMLListCollection?) and parse through it.
Do you have an example or do you know where it is? This isssue is making my “Rapid” develpment really slow…
